ADHD Assessments

As part of a neuropsychological assessment, we carry out ADHD assessments.

As part of the assessment, we carry out:​

• Cognitive assessments 

• Qb Check (a continuous performance test of attention)

• Questionnaires completed by the young person (if appropriate), Parents/primary caregivers and School staff

• Semi-structured interviews with parents/primary caregivers

• School observation (if appropriate)

The information from all teh different sources is integrated so as to establish if your child meets the diagnostic criteria for ADHD based on the DSM-V.

 

We are all registered with the Health Care and Professionals Council (PYL 29754) and are Chartered Psychologists with the British Psychological Society.
