Educational Psychologist
A psychologist has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of how people think, feel and behave; they carry out ongoing assessments to understand behaviour and use this to bring about positive change. There are many different types of psychologists.
An Educational Psychologist uses applied psychology to promote positive change and wellbeing for children, young people and their families. Through my in-depth knowledge and experience of children's typical and atypical development, learning and teaching I attempt to bridge theory and practice so as to develop a rich picture of a child, to work with those around them to maximise their development and progress.
